How OutWith works.
Short answers. The Terms still govern.
Do I have to fill out every profile question?
No. Skip anything you don’t want to share. More detail usually means more matches, but that’s your call.
How does verification work?
You confirm you are 18. Photos wait for a person on the OutWith team. A verified badge is two selfies — look at the camera, then hold up three fingers. Couples can link accounts. We do not require a phone number, a liveness app, or a government ID today.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in page, use Forgot password. We email a one-hour link. Google and X accounts sign in with those buttons — there is no password to reset.
Who pays?
The host sets My Treat, Your Treat, 50/50, Free, or a dollar amount. OutWith does not hold or escrow money.
What if someone doesn’t show or doesn’t pay?
Rate them after. Reliability drops for verified no-shows and unpaid experiences. You can open a dispute. We don’t collect the bill.
Can couples or families join?
Yes. Each person has a profile. Link as a couple if you want. Hosts choose if an experience is open to individuals, couples, families, or anyone.
How do boosts work?
A boost puts your experience first on this week’s board for 7 days. New members get one. Buy 1 for $4, 3 for $9, or 10 for $25 from Profile.
Can a restaurant list a night?
Yes. Venues pay $79 to list a package. Hosts claim it (free if the venue sponsors it, or a host price the venue sets), then post it as a normal OutWith experience. Unused claims expire in 7 days.
Why does a photo say In review?
New photos wait for a person on the OutWith team. Nothing auto-rejects. A first policy removal is treated as a mistake. A second limits posting. A third closes the account. Blurry or wrong-slot photos don’t count as strikes.
Where is OutWith live?
Weber, Davis, and Salt Lake counties are open — Ogden through Salt Lake City and the towns in between. Provo, Park City, and Logan are still on the waitlist.
Can I go out with someone again?
Yes. After an experience is locked, open the thread and tap Go again. It copies the experience and opens chat with that person. You can also invite past companions when you post a new experience.
Is this a dating app?
No. The main board is this week’s hike, coffee, family picnic, and +1 — the way people already look on Instagram and Facebook Events. Dating-forward listings live in After Hours, a separate opt-in room. Matching is always to an experience, not a bio.
